How do we imagine the graphic and formal representation of ruins?
If ruins are the playground of the Urban Explorer and the ‘decay porn’ of the photographer, this project proposes another way to represent ruins. An explorer equipped with metal spheres elaborates sample forms and images, the material of ruins, rolling up and collecting evidence of the decaying traces of memory. A video ball, a laser ball and a sonar ball capture the visual, spatial and auditory dimensions, providing a poetic hauntological document of our ruins.

Les ruines sont le terrain de jeu des Urbex mais aussi le lieu de naissance du terme «porn ruin» par son traitement photographique. Ce projet propose une autre manière de représenter les ruines par le prisme d’un équipement articulé par l’explorateur. Hubert, Alfred et Gordon sont les noms des trois balles qui forment cet équipement. Dans l’ordre une balle video, une balle laser et une balle sonar pour réaliser une nouvelle documentation.
