LEAD DESIGNER The Lead Designer will manage the design team. The LD will receive the creative input from the Art Director and will set graphic standards that support the brand’s overall design vision for all visual/ graphic representation. The LD is primarily tasked with maintaining the quality and creativity of design projects. The primary duties and responsibilities of the LD include research and analysis, overseeing a variety of design projects and gauging the performance of design strategies implemented.
Responsibilities: • Oversee all design content (ON & OFF), from conception to delivery. • Provide leadership, mentoring, and managerial oversight to the Graphic Design team. • Organize and facilitate design processes for graphic design projects. • Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects. • Ability to develop quick design ideas based on briefs and ensure that all deadlines are followed. • Keep the PMs up to date on the project’s progress, including design and adjustments suggestions. Furthermore, the LD must be willing to take the initiative and exude the motivation and leadership. LD reports to Head of Content and Design.
Skills/Abilities/Knowledge: • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related fields is required. • 4+ years of proven Graphic Design experience. • Experience with the Adobe create suite of tools, such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. • Strong creative portfolio. • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to work and interface with another departments, coworkers, and management. • An eye for detail and analytical skills to read and take inputs from the audience and market research data. • Fluent in Spanish & English.
