JOB -> CAMPER Middleweight retail architect

As an architect, you'll take the lead as you assume responsibility for design, approval, coordination, and implementation for all projects assigned. Projects may include concepts, new stores, remodels, quality assurances checks, prototype updates, special assignments and collaborations with other architecture studios. Drawing design plans in CAD and making 3D visualizations to share with different departments to gather their feedback on the design and making necessary changes until the final store design is approved. Once design is OK, budget the works, prepare a calendar with the works timeline. When design, budget and schedule is fixed, control production of necessary furniture and manage the works on site to guarantee high standard finishing and premium designs. You’ll leverage trend information and inspiration to develop clear and compelling direction and designs. Using your skills and talents, you will create and present projects throughout the project lifecycle to the different teams. MRA reports to Head of Retail Marketing.

Responsibilities: DESIGN Retail store design process

• Receive store plans, pictures, visit site

• Draw in CAD and 3D to review project with other departments

• With design approved, send info to suppliers to get all budgets

• Once budget is approved, schedule works and start production, control timing and quality

• Start works on site, control qualities, schedule and all works taking place.

• Coordinate during works with other departments (IT, Visual, CSOP) to ensure store is 100% operative when works are finished

• Make sure opening dates are met with high quality finishes and in budget.

• Organize with other departments opening (stock delivery, IT installations)

Distributors and Franchise store design • Receive as much relevant information about new site (full set of plans, pictures, location) • Draw CAD and 3D visualization for design approval • Send all plans and 3D to distributor with details for them to build the store to our quality standards • Control works by receiving regular updates • Approve the final result before opening.

Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field • 2+ years of Architecture experience, retail experience preferred • Experience with AutoCAD • Ability to focus on a single project or multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development • Ability to work well in a team environment • Interacts well with other disciplines and departments in a manner that builds productive relationships • Strong organization, communication and relationship management skills • Fluent in Spanish & English • Submit portfolio with application

ESG Objetives: • During the first steps of the design process, have in mind the use of sustainable products and processes, always trying to reuse materials from previous project or that could be already inside the new site • Being more energetically efficient using new AACC machines (less contaminating) and installing new light systems (LED) • Use of environmental friendly material as much as possible (natural paint, recycled materials)

External: Distributors, Franchises, Architects and Engineers, Contractors, Suppliers.
